Out of school clubs and TAs, sports clubs, scouts etc are expected to deal with all the difficulties that schools and settings face. Increased special needs, children struggling with self-esteem and self-regulation and those who would simply much prefer to be with their parents.

Whether volunteers or paid professionals, these people and the way they interact or inspire our youngsters are such important factors in shaping the childhoods of our children today.

These Brilliant Basics online trainings are simply starters- they only take ten minutes but the thinking they triggers last much longer.. They help new team members , those looking for clear, informed explanations or ‘Simply Brilliant’ strategies that they can put in place straight away. They can be confident as these Brilliant Beginnings come from Ali McClure., award winning and internationally recognised teacher, trainer, parent and consultant with years of experience working with children in schools, settings and out of school clubs,. She is a teacher trainer, a SENCo and was pivotal in setting up the first children’s after school clubs in the UK.
